Being a Cooksbridge Care Worker

Your work

As a Cooksbridge Live-in Care Worker you will be a housekeeper, cook, companion and Personal Carer. Your job will be to make sure your client is safe and well looked-after in their own home. Often you will stay with a client for several weeks at a time, and return regularly if you get on well with one another. We hope you will find it a very rewarding experience.

Pay

You can expect to earn £400 to £500 per 7-day booking, depending on the level of care required. Remember you will get plenty of other benefits on top of this. We match you to clients depending on your personality and experience.

Availability of work

There is plenty of work for suitable Care Workers. We do need you to be available for at least 12 weeks work over a 12 month period, and the more the better.

Flexibility

You are able to choose a flexible rota to suit you, giving you plenty of time off. Some of our Care Workers choose to do 1 week on/1 week off, others 2 weeks on/1 week off. Many work for several weeks at a time. Let us know your preferences.

Where you will work

We are in the south of England, and our clients live in Sussex, Surrey and as far as London. Our office is in Lewes, 7 miles from Brighton, a popular seaside city. We are one hour by train from central London, and 45 minutes from London Gatwick airport.
